The fashion show is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it’s a party that you don’t want to miss.

This year’s show is going to be fantastic, with amazing boutiques, inspiring female models who are all cancer survivors. This year we have a special treat, as well: the male models are all members of the Bellevue Fire Department. We’re ready to have some fun!

Special thanks to participating boutiques, who provide clothing, fittings, and promotion of our event: Carmilia’s, Coastal Surf Boutique, West Seattle Runner, 3 Wishes, Scotch & Soda, Via Lago, The Finerie, Peridot, and Visette.

Thank you also to the talented stylists at Ola Salon and Spa for doing all of the models’ hair and makeup, and for throwing our models a party.

Our gratitude to the volunteer planning committee for their hard work: Amy Daly-Donovan, Erin Daly, Kathy Petras, Shanti Lang, Tracey Hilton, Kimberly Law, Peggy Nelson, and Patrick Murphy. It takes a large group of committed individuals to put on this event, and we welcome your help, too! Contact if you’d like to volunteer at the event.

Alki Beach Run

2016 Alki Beach 5k Walk and Run

The Best Waterfront Route in Seattle!

Sunday, August 28, 2016 • 9am

Thank you to the 1,100+ people who came out to Alki to enjoy a special Sunday in 2015! We celebrated survivors. We honored those we've lost to breast cancer. And we supported friends, family and co-workers.

Thanks to YOUR contributions, the walk and run raised more than $75,000, money which will help women get back on track financially, while they are dealing with the emotional and physical effects of breast cancer.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of Alki Beach & the West Seattle waterfront on this out-and-back 5k route from the Statue of Liberty at Alki Beach Park & the historic Bathhouse, along the waterfront to Anchor Park.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate. Visit the Alki Beach 5k site to learn more about this fun annual event.

Special thanks to our sponsors: Atossa Genetics, Evergreen Home Loans, Genentech, Fauntleroy Chiropractic, Windermere Foundation, Restore Vision Centers, The Zack & Jodi Hill Team, Alki Spud Fish and Chips, West Coast Emergency Response, West Seattle Health Club, West Seattle Kiwanis, and West Seattle Runner.

Women Winemakers

Women Winemakers of the Pacific Northwest

Wine Tasting Event

Wednesday, November 18, 2015
At the historic Georgetown Ballroom!

Thank you for joining us for this enchanting wine tasting event to support the Healing Programs of NW Hope & Healing.
Click here to watch a slide show of the 2014 event and an idea of what to expect this year.

In a historic setting with live jazz performed by Grupo Amoroso, guests enjoyed tasty appetizers, explored our silent auction, and met award-winning female winemakers, as well as those who are up and coming in their field, and sampled their creations. These talented women are influencing the style and the quality of wines in the Pacific Northwest.

Participating winemakers included Jody Elsom from Elsom Cellars; Sheila Nicholas from Anam Cara; Maggie Harrison from Antica Terra; Nina Buty from Buty Winery; Dena Drews of Amalie Robert Winery; Kay Simon from Chinook Wines; Kelly Hightower of Hightower Cellars; Casey Cobble from Robert Ramsay Cellars; Katy Smith Perry from Tildio Winery; and T. Frick McNamara of Bin 41.

Thank you to Matthew Browning of Seattle Portrait Booth for his continued support. Matt had a photo booth on site to shoot both fun and serious portraits. View 2014 portraits here.

Father Daughter Dance

Father Daughter Dance

The Harrelson Family Legacy continues...

Event postponed indefinitely; Contact info

To honor the extraordinary contributions made to Northwest Hope & Healing by the Harrelson family, Chris Moorhead and his daughters hosted the 2014 Northwest Hope & Healing Father Daughter Dance.

Fathers and daughters have much to talk about, worlds to share. Learning to hit a curve ball or make the smart career move—once largely the arena of fathers and sons—is now fully and joyfully shared by fathers and daughters.

Northwest Hope & Healing hosted a special evening for dads and their daughters to celebrate their special bond and create memories to last a lifetime. Thank you to all the families who joined us for an evening filled with good food, fun music, dancing, and more.
