Thanks to our generous supporters, NW Hope & Healing continues to make progress towards our goals and offer support to women who are battling breast and gynecological cancer throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Since 2000, we have offered grants to women in need through our Patient Assistance Fund. In 2014, 313 women and their families have tapped into that fund and received grants that offered immediate and practical help. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose goal is to help women get back on track financially, while they are dealing with the emotional and physical effects of cancer.
Volunteers continue to assemble Healing Baskets which are distributed to women who are newly diagnosed with breast cancer at all Swedish's campuses, as well as the Swedish Cancer Institute affiliates at Highline Hospital in Burien.
Our Healing Programs have grown over the years because of the generosity and spirit of a supportive community. We would love to put your talents and energy to work, and know you will be amazed by the people you'll meet.
Northwest Hope & Healing is an approved charity of both the King County Employee Giving Program and the Washington State Combined Fund Drive.
